The 5th round of the Curitibano Championship of Modified Class was held on September 17, 2006 at the New Hobby track, a technical track located in the middle of Curitiba. The track is very tight with low to medium grip, 106 meters long and 2.5 meters wide.

The majority were using brushless systems. Fabiano Franco dominates from the beginning â til the end of the day. His car was fantastic with speed and of the corners. Flávio Salinet and Jonas Ferstemberg didnâ™t find the best set-ups for the circuit.

We from XRAY TEAM BRASIL are very satisfied because we are still leading the championship with Fabiano Franco and Flávio Salinet. This round was full of XRAY T2 cars. In the TOP 7â¦â¦ 5 drivers were using the XRAY T2 chassis. FS MODELSPORT was very proud to see that.

The race format used in the Curitibano Championship was the same as the Reedy Race, using 5 heats, and the winner being the who has the most laps in all heats. This time, we from XRAY TEAM BRASIL got the first place with Fabiano Franco.
